Ebay Description:

This California built Volksrod features a 60's VW motor and trans-axle. The "Cal Automotive" fiberglass body is mounted to a tube chassis. It is NOT built on a VW pan. Recent yellow paint(2006-Ford "Screaming Yellow") but is driver quality. Front grille shell(T style radiator)is the gas tank.(aprox 4.5 gals.) Side opening hood with battery located in the bobbed bed. Tonneau cover for bed is also included. Has a Hurst "Trigger shifter" and minimal gauges.

Carpet has been added since pictures were taken. All lights, signals and wiper work fine. Vehicle has a clear VA title.
Titled as a 1963 VW and has a VW tow bar that attaches to the front axle.
Mileage listed is inaccurate because there is NO speedometer, only a tachometer.

There is NO top or top bows and the rear tires are age cracked.
There are no front brakes or front shocks. It has a good strong brake pedal but is NOT disc brake equipped.

This Volksrod is roadworthy and was driven last week locally. It starts well and has no strange noises or excessive engine smoke.

I have tried to describe this fun driver to the best of my ability. It gets "thumbs up" and smiles whenever I drive it. It is very economical to operate.
This is NOT a distress sale. I'm just trying to "thin the herd" Email with questions or to set up an appointment to come and inspect. A winning bid is a contract to purchase, not to come and inspect.
