Ebay Description:

8/25/13 UPDATE:

It has been brought to my attention that in some states, such as,
ALABAMA & GEORGIA, a vehicle that is pre 1974 does NOT require a title for
registration. I have not verified that through the DMV of those two states, so it will
be up to the buyer to verify this information. I have also been able to obtain the VW chassis
ID number which is the following: *117649687*.

I verified through aircooled.net that this is a 1967 beetle chassis.

NOTE: SEE YOUTUBE VIDEO AT BOTTOM

1974 Partially completed Kelmark GT / Ferr@ri replica WITHOUT A TITLE

This listing is for a partially completed fiberglass bodied kit car on a VW bug chassis that is powered by a running1600cc air cooled engine. It is carbureted with twin dellorto single barrel carbs, and is coupled to a standard transmission. The fiberglass body is sound and in pretty good shape for its age excluding the skim coated bondo areas, they will require some finish work. The doors open and close good and the windows roll up and down. The over all integrity of the fiberglass seems good but with a few hair line stress cracks in the gell coat ( see photos ). The VW pan is very solid over all but there is some rust and a small hole in the right side pan ( see photos ). The windshield and side glass is in good condition with no scratches, and the back window is safety glass. The rubber windshield gasket (Ford Pinto) will need to be replaced as well as all of the door weather stripping. Most of the electrical is done with some gauges and sending units that need to be completed. Interior door panels are in fair useable condition and the original Kelmark seats are sitting in the car but are not bolted down (some stains on the vinyl). The floor carpet is new and the trim carpet is original. The car will start and run off of the gas tank, and shifting and braking works fine. Wheels and tires were new when car was built but tires have some cracking on the sides now and the wheels have oxidation on them. Some parts are new and many were new when the car was first put together some 10 + years ago. Those parts should have no wear on them because the car has only gone 1,261 miles according to the odometer. This car sat for 10 years before I purchased it. The previous owner lost the title and never put it in his name, he worked on the body and electrical a bit and then threw in the towel. I purchased the car not running and with some work have got the motor running, brakes, and the lights working. Now it's time for a finisher to take over. Here is a list of what I know or believe has been replaced / completed when the car was put together, and also some upgrades.

This car has the potential to turn more heads than a screw driver BUT that is going to require someone with mechanical, electrical, interior, and body and paint skills. I have tried to give an accurate description of the car, and show its imperfections in my photos. So if you have any questions please ask them before sale is made. Please no “dreamers or tire kickers” only serious bidders that will follow through on payment. NOTE ***I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THIS CAR*** I will provide a signed bill of sale to the buyer. It is the buyers sole responsibility to obtain paper work for this vehicle. Car is being sold ***AS IS WHERE IS*** with*** NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WHATSOEVER***
