what a steal!

Ebay Description:

I recently bought this car on ebay but, unfortunately, I cannot commit to it or have it shipped back to my house because of sudden financial problems. This car still resides in California with the previous owner. The previous owner gave me permission to re-sell the car and he can assist you whenever you pick the car up. Here is his description from the previous ebay auction: This is a 1969 Fiberfab Jamaican that was built from what I was told at the fiberfab factory and sold as a turn key kit, it was not sold to a customer and assembled in there garage. There is a CA vin tag on it and the last time it was on the road might have been the early 80's I do have 1 registration card for it. there is no motor or trans and it appears to have been built on an early vw 63-64. The front windshield is out of a 67 corvette. overall this is a project that will need total restoration and is sold as is with a bill of sale only I may be able to ship tell me were your located and I may be able to do it for a small fee, thanks.

I have the previous owner's contact information to give to the winning bidder. The car is in Lancaster, CA. The car is missing the back window which is a Porsche 911 part and I have seen these on ebay from time to time for around $40.00. I called a local salvage yard and they want $100.00 for one. Previous owner said that the VW pan is surprisingly solid. I added some example pictures of what I was going to do to this blue Jamaican. You can see that with a little updating that this body would blend in well with todays styling of exotic cars. You can put killer size wheels and tires under those large fender openings and gives a chopped top appeal. I will miss this car and hope that the winning bidder will give me a picture of it when finished. As stated above, I do have to sell this car and it will be at no reserve. $100.00 deposit within three days after auction and the rest within one week after auction. You can see the pictures and know that loading the car might be a tricky task. I would keep this in mind because it may be hard for your transport to load it. My transport guy was going to load it and bring it to Oklahoma for $500.00. His normal route is CA to TX-OK areas. Thanks and good luck.

Interesting notes: This body is the factory wide body and is the same body(LxWxH) that was used for the V8 platform as well.

If you are wanting to do V8 platform such as small block chevy, you will want to pick up a mid 80's Toyota pickup frame.
These are the rugged boxed in frames and the best choice for the Jamaican V8 and body to frame fitment.
