These really are beautiful bodies

Ebay Description:

You are looking at a rare 1969 Jamaican factory built by Fiberfab.
I will start by saying that I have seen many kit cars over the years for sale but cant remember the last time I seen one of these sought after classics for sale.
This car was last on the road in the early 80's and there are very few of them around today, even fewer that are still in this kind of condition.
This car is factory built by Fiberab on a 1963 or 64 VW pan. It needs motor/trans of your choice, gauges, rear glass (911 Porsche), and some interior work.
These cars have a lot of room up front and many people place V8's in them. With the weight, aerodynamics, and size of the Jamaican, it can equal out to be one hell of a fast car when built.
I have fixed a straight axle under it temporary to make it easier to move around. The body isn't totally perfect but is in darn good shape for its age. This car is located in Hesperia/Oakhills California. I'll be more than happy to work with your shipping company to ship car. I bought this car though someone elses miss fortune but found a old friend in the process. I am selling it now in hopes of finding the buyer that will bring it back to life.
This classic has a whole hell of a lot of potential and is truly a diamond in the rough.

Car is being sold "AS IS" "WHERE IS" with no warranties expressed or implied. I welcome any local buyers to inspect car in person. Call me at (760) 244-3594 to set appointment. This car will come with BILL OF SALE ONLY. If you need time to move the car no problem, I'm sure we can work something out as long as car is paid for on time. I have a lot of property and dont mind storing it for a while if needed.
If you have zero feed back please contact me before bidding. I reserve the right to cancel any bid. Car must be paid for within 72 hours of end of auction.

To the people that have asked about the glass that is originally used for this kit.....
63-67 Corvett* windshield
69 P@rsche 911 rear glass ($39. on ebay)
VW Karman 6hia side windows

Question & Answer Answered On

Q: What glass(donor car)does this body use? Do the side windows have roll up glass? Is the VW pan shortened? What is the condition of the pan? May-23-10
A: (63-67 Corvette Windshield)(69 Porsche 911 rear glass. $39.00 on ebay) (VW Karman Ghia side glass). Yes, windows are roll up and the internal mechanical parts are untouched but windows will need to be oiled because they are froze up at the moment. Needs the rear and maybe the passanger side glass because I don't recall seeing it in the door. I'm not sure if the pan was shortened or not. As far as the pan condition, its a VW pan; need I say more? LOL It has some rust in the common sections but you will still have to get out the car to push it if it ever broke down. (no big holes yet)Strong enough that I was able to lift the whole car useing a jack under the floors so I would guess they are good for now but Iwill double check for you.
