This is a kit car purchased and built by a Texas man in 1981 on a 1967 VW chassis. We bought this car from the builder in October of 2001. We drove this car around home and hauled it along on camping trips and toured all around the place we stayed at. We have put a lot of money into it throughout the years, including a new OE dual port engine, new carburetor, a new clutch, new top, and 4 new radial 14 inch tires. The brakes were gone through with new wheel cylinders and shoes, new rear drums and a complete new tie rod assembly. We also installed turn signals as the car originally did not have them. We purchased the car at 5300 miles and it now has only 10140 miles on it. It's a fun car to drive but only for two people. It's best if the driver is not much over 6 foot tall as it's pretty tight. I'm 6'2" and it's tight for me but I got by with no real problems except I needed to wear tennis shoes for easier driving.

Included with this car are the paper work from the beginning, the original manuals that came with the car kit, the books on the radio/cassette player, and whatever spare parts and other items that we have that are related to this car.

“Everything works and it runs really nice. It shows some wear and tear for a 33 year old vehicle but overall is very sound. All the big defects are noted in the pictures and are things that some elbow grease will take care of. Some of the chrome is pitted, the wheels are the most pitted. The paint is OK but some touch up would make it a lot better. Tires are like new.”
