EBAY Description:

1962 Volkswagen Meyers Manx style dune buggy with a 1600CC dual port VW engine and 4 speed manual transmission. This car has only 40 miles since it has been completely rebuilt. Clean Massachusetts title as a 1962 VW dune buggy and is very streetable. Title has less than 12,000 original miles. The odometer has been changed out. Runs and drives excellent. This dune buggy was left to rot away since 1981, until recently when it was restored. $1000s have been invested in new parts. The floors have been coated with roll-on bedliner material to prevent rust. Has matching racing seats, new wiring harness, lighting, brakes, steering, battery, exhaust, etc… It’s all been done and it is ready to go. The body is original, not a reproduction. The paint is a 2012 Chevy Camaro lime green flake. The paint job alone was $3500. 4 coats of paint and many, many clear coats. The pictures do not do it justice at all. 31” off road tires on 15” black racing wheels. The motor got a complete overhaul. It runs great and sounds even better. The car goes down the road very well. It stops and steers perfectly; does not pull to either side. All gauges and lights work. Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of labor have been put into this car to make it perfect. It is 100% a head turner no matter where you go. This car is a great example of a dune buggy; you will not find one nicer.
