An original Meyers Manx produced in May of 1968 (M1923E807E) M1923 is the production #, E is May ,8 is 1968 and 07E was the color. It's documented in the Manx Registry. Purchased from the original owner in March, 2004 with 1601 miles, complete restoration from '04 to "on the road" in Nov., 2006. Everything was replaced except the pan, body and transaxle. All the nuts, bolts and washers were replaced with OEM or stainless fasteners and all the parts were replaced with OEM or US made when available.All the work was done by myself except the engine build and the paint so I know the build was done right and can verify the information listed. Sucessful bidder will receive all the receipts. 2 sets of keys and title in hand. Buggy inspected, licensed and insured in Indiana. I have driven the buggy approx. 5200 miles since '06 with several 300-400 mile trips last year. A VW tow bar w/2" ball receiver is also included.


Complete resin/mat, surface prep restoration. Meyers Manx side pods fitted and molded to the body. Corvette Torch Red Paint by R Fischer Body. Top is a new modified Manx cut to a "surrey" style with mounting hardware similiar to what is used on the Meyers Manxter, easy in and out and completely removable in several minutes.

Buggy won best paint in 2011 and top 10 of show in 2009 at the VW's in the Park.


!968 pan with original vin# shortened 14 1/4" with 1"x1" square tubing used for extra bracing around the outer edge of the pan. Custom fabricated 6 point roll cage, new gas tank and relocated fill neck.


1776cc installed in 2008. New case from "Steel Buggin", new Scat pistons, jugs, rods with balanced crank and Engle W-100 cam. New dual Solex carbs set-up by M. Harney. Manx Sidewinder exhaust. SVDA distributor with Petronix module. This engine has approx. 4,800 miles since installed. Scat tin powdercoated Pearl Black.


Corbeau seats, automotive carpet with jute backing. Fire extinguisher, Grant wheel and a shortened quick shifter installed.


New adjustable front beam with new tie rods and steering box and powdercoated Sway-a-way adjustable rear swing arms. All the brakes have been completely rebuilt, shoes, hardware and wheel cylinders, new master cylinder and all the brake lines were replaced. All the bearings and seals front and back have also been replaced.


Jackman style rims 5 lug, 10"x15" and 6"x15" with BF Goodrich tires, 295x50x15" and 195x60x15".
