EBAY Description:

You are bidding on this sweet Volkswagen Dune Buggy. It’s on a 1965 VW pan. The buggy is in good shape and has no rust. The whole buggy was gone over by a VW shop in Santa Maria, CA ($3400 / I have receipts) and has a freshly rebuilt 1600cc motor, rebuilt transaxle, brand new brakes, new fuel line, new shocks, fairly fresh tires. The engine fires right up, it runs strong, and idles perfectly. The transaxle shifts smoothly and strongly and the clutch works perfectly. The body is in solid but not spectacular shape. There are very minor scuff marks on the body near where the driver would enter the buggy. The pan is perfect. The seats are somewhat worn (notice small tear on driver’s side seat) and there is no seat in the back. We preferred to use that area for coolers!

Buggy is street legal: it has turn signals, lights, brake lights, seat harness, etc. There is only one seat harness (driver's side). One of the turn signals needs a new bulb and the horn needs to be fixed. But other than that, this is ready to go.

Additionally, this auction comes with extra set of rims and some misc parts.

Item Location: Portales, New Mexico
