Q: How does the buggy run and drive? Any issues mechanically or cosmetically? Thanks again, Marc Aug-22-12
A: This was a project when we started so it has been gone through from one end to the other mechanically with new engine, tranny gone through, new brakes, master cylinder, steering was redone all new wiring . All gauges were replaced and things like ampmeter and tach and speedometer were added. I also used circuit breakers instead of fuses so if you blow a fuse you just push a button on the dash and it resets like an aircraft.there are no fuses to replace. The body had many cracks and holes which were all reglassed and then repainted blue. The body was repainted several years before the buggy was finished so it sat outside in the sun and there are a few chips and the paint does need a buff and a wax. the paint is just ok in my opinion. All in all I would drive this car anywhere and the only thing I would add if I were keeping it are front disc brakes and an oil cooler which is not much money to do. Other than that this buggy will give you a nice trouble free many years of pleasure. You might find one for less, but you'll have just as much in it when you are done.

Q: Is there room in this buggy for rear seats? Aug-20-12
A: This buggy has the shortened floor pan so there is very little legroom for adult rear passengers. For that reason I did not put in a rear seat. You could install a narrower rear seat for children fairly easily. You will also notice that the roll bar follows the contours of the buggy which gives it a nicer look but does not allow for safe headroom for adults. Again, with smaller children this is not an issue.

Q: Is the roll cage removable? What do you want for the buggy? Aug-18-12
A: roll cage is not easily removable. It is not designed to be removed, so you would have to unbolt it and refab something else to replace it.If buggy does not make the reserve during the auction, I have talked to people who will make me an offer after the auction.
