EBAY Description:

1972 Volkswagen dune buggy for sale. The vehicle runs excellent with no known mechanical issues. It has new brakes on all 4 corners. It has a new throttle cable, recent tune-up and oil change and lube job. The batterey is 2 years old. The rear tires are new and the front tires have 80% tread on them. All the lights work and the fuel gauge works. The speedometer does not work at this time, but I have a new cable ordered and it will go with the vehicle. It has 14x7 Keystone mags with three prong spinners and Goodyear Eagle 215/70/14 tires all matching. It has a newly covered rear seat with black seat belts installed. The fronts are fiberglass racing seats with black seat belts also. The body is in good condition with only a few stretch marks. The worst ones are around the gas cap as seen in the photos. The vehicle does not leak anything and does not smoke. The transmission and clutch are smooth as the should be. The odometer shows 04745.5 miles currently. The title showed 139,789 actual when I transferred the title. You can tag it, ride it and enjoy the good gas mileage as is with no work to be done to the vehicle to put it on the road other than your state inspection. If you wanted to make a real eye-catcher a metal flake paint job is all the buggy needs. Feel free to question and thank's for looking. I also have a tow-bar that was made for the dune buggy that hooks to a 2" ball for towing the vehicle that goes with it also

On Jun-13-12 at 12:29:33 PDT, seller added the following information:

I have had several questions about the title of the dune buggy. It seem's that some bidders think it should be titled as a dune buggy. It is not. I want all bidders to know this vehicle has a clear, clean title with the VIN numbers matching the VIN plate on the car. It is a 1972 Volkswagen and it titled as such. The vehicle has been titled, tagged, inspected, insured and driven in Virginia since 2008 by the previous owner. The title has been changed and is in my wife's name and is clear, sighned and ready to be transferred to the winning bidder upon auction end.
