Funnybug sez:

Spanky & Our Gang was a great pop band in the late 1960's when dune buggies were in their prime.

EBAY Description:

The Super Shark was made by Turchan Industries in Ontario, CA. This is a very rear and super cool dune Buggy.Very strong Corvair Motor with dual carbs and headers gives you twice the power over a VW motor and yes you can get Corvair parts at any parts store. This buggy has been in 2 large collections and not used for off road. It has a loy of history. The body is very rear and the buggy was built by a major dune buggy builder in the late 60's Indy car drive Mario Andretti race team built the motor on this buggy for the first owner how was his dear friend. Mario had a red buggy just like this one they built at the same time. The frame and body are from Turchan Industries. The body is perfect and always stored inside since built.I am not sure but I think the heavy metal flake is the stock gelcoat. I think it has been clear coated in the past. The upholstery is new and perfectly redone as it was when new. This buggy seats 4. This buggy is a very cool car and gets tons of looks. It has that hot rod look of the 60's. it has seat belts and is 100% street legal ( in our state ). The fronend and rearend and motor are all from a Chevy Corvair. Twin carbs and headers and i'm sure some Indy Car tricks from Mario himself.I have e-mails talking about Mario and the team building the motors from the paperwork that comes with the car. Front seats adjust on tracks for the long leged guys. Chrome rollbar and vintage American Racing wheels big and littles help with the cool style. Brand new tires and 100 point inspection of the buggy has been done. This is a freash cool buggy ready for fun. Offered by Spanky's Hot Rods and Customs
