Funnybug sez:

utoob video below.. 1st time I've seen a dune buggy driver without a shit eating grin :(...

I bought this buggy the fall of 2008 and completely rebuilt it over that following winter. Its a Spatz body which is a copy of the Manx body style that is very popular. I took my time with this car and did it right. I tore it down to the chassis and completely sanded it and sealed it, there was no rust luckily. Some of the new items i put on it are Shocks, complete brakes, brake lines, fuel line, brake master cyl, tie rods and ends, clutch and pressure plate, new/rebuilt 1970 1600cc engine. I installed all new gauges, including a gas gauge, and a 12v socket, and a new speedo that reads true mileage from when i finshed the car. I rechromed the roll bar and re did the body to an orangish or burnt orange metal flake finish. Its always garaged, and I will throw in a cover for it also. Now when i say "I" i mean i had a professional do it if i couldn't, just to clarify... I found old slot mags that i had sanded and cleaned up for new BF Goodrich tires. The rears are 15x10 and the fronts are 14x7. I'm selling because i only have about 1200 miles on it since i finished and i need to get another project as the journey was more fun than the destination... Please contact me if you have any questions.
