Ebay Description:

this is an original vw dune buggy. it is titled as a 1959 which makes insurance super cheap. to start the only reason i am selling this is because i have a baby and this car just wont get used anymore. body is original mettle flake purple and has one ding on front drivers fender. has original old 60s pin striping that has been gone over just to freshin it up. motor is a 1600cc that has been gone through and freshined up. new carb, oil cooler, and starter.
tires and rims are also new with less than 100 miles on them. large tires in back and skinnies up front to give it the right stance.
brakes are all new. e-brake works great. has small old 60s grant steering wheel. seat covers are new. battery is new. winshield wipers work all lights work horn works sometimes. grant steering wheels sometimes suck to make the horn work. almost all seals are new every time one broke or started leaking i would replace them all. drove this car for the past 5 summers no problems. this thing gets more attention than any other car i have and i have some cool ones. kids freak out and think its the coolest thing ever. this is a nice original dunebuggy with original top that hasnt been restored or hacked up. more people look at this than the fully restored dunebuggys when i bring it to cruise nights.
feel free to come check it out or contact me with any questions i would prefer local pic up or come drive it home if you like.
just pulled out of my barn for pics pumped gas twice and barley turned the key and it fired right up after sitting all winter.
$500 non refundable deposit due with 24 hours of auction ending rest due apon pick up.
thanks please ask all questions first.
