Funnybug sez:

it's a bit of arrogance to expect a non heated topless dunebuggy to fetch top dollar in the mid freeze of a Maine March

Ebay Description:

This is a genuine Meyers Manx dune buggy built on a shortened 1965 VW floor pan. The Meyers Manx body number is M1802D832S. The engine is a 1972 1600cc dual port with a two barrel carburetor. It also has a Hurst shifter. I purchased this last year after being off the road for many years. The last time it had been state inspected was in June of 1991. I put in four new brake wheel cylinders, four new flexible brake hoses, new brake shoes front and rear, changed the oil, and new spark plugs. It now runs and drives. Too many other cars and projects forces me to put this one up for sale. It comes with a fiberglass hard top, side curtains, and a soft top with bows. The side curtains and the soft top should be recovered. The seats should also be recovered. This is being sold strictly as is, as shown. There is no warranty or guarantee of manner, shape, or form. Due to it's age, the state of Maine will not issue a title so therefor it is being sold on a bill of sale. Maine does not title cars older than 1995.
