Kellison Super T Dune Buggy
Titled 1962 Dune Buggy with NOS
1970 Kellison Super T Body and powered
by a 1968 1776 Type I w/ Type III Cooling
Tins and Fan Shroud.
Wheels are 14x8 American Racing Torque Thrust with NEW P245/60R 14 T/A Radials on the rear and P225/60R 14's on the front.


CHASSIS.... Old Floor Pans were cut out and new ones installed, 1x1 Steel Tubes were welded in outside channel of pan for reinforcement, pan was then taken down to bare metal and painted with POR 15 in high gloss.


FRONT SUSPENSION... Axel Bean was stripped and painted with POR 15, new Tie Rods, Tie Rod ends, Damper, New King and Link Pins and shocks. BRAKES... New Master Cylinder, new hard and soft lines, new hardware on Rear Drums, New Disc Brakes on front, New shortened E-brake and Cables.
REAR SUSPENSION... Rear Spring Plate stripped and painted with POR 15 in Grey, New Rear Spring Bushings, New Chrome Rear Torsion Housing Cover, New Rear Bearing and Seal kits installed and New Coil Over Shocks.

INTERIOR... Fiberglass Seats, Grey Carpet on floor and inside of liner, New Battery on front passenger side, Original Stewart Warner Speedometer/Odometer, New VDO Oil and Fuel Gauges, New Ignition Switch, New Horn Button, New Toggle Switches for Lights and Wipers, New Indicator Lights for Turns Signals, Generator and High Beams, New Turn Signal Switch, New Fire Extinguisher and Re-built Pedal Assembly with New Clutch and Throttle Cables. All New Wiring


BODY... NOS 1970 Kellison Super T, Chopped Front Bumper off 1967 VW, New Headlights, New Front Turn Signals, 4 New 39 Ford Tail Lights, New Windshield, New wiper Arms and Blades, New Driver and Passenger Side Mirrors, C3 Corvette Luggage Rack. 2 Tailgates... One is the original Kellsion tailgate with holes cut out for taillights and the other is made of clear Plexiglas and is decaled on the backside to give glossy appearance.


ENGINE and TRANSAXLE... Engine is a 1968 1776 Type I with Type III Tins and Fan Shroud. Engine was rebuild by previous owner and has approx. 1,400. Other than cleaning and painting the engine, the only other things I did to the engine was putting new Spark Plugs, Coil, Voltage Regulator, Spark Plugs Wires, Oil Filter and Air Cleaners. As for the Transaxle, I cleaned and painted the Transmission Red and the Axle Tubes Grey and installed new Boots.

This is a very nice Dune Buggy and hard to find.
