Ebay Description:

I have been rebuilding this buggy since May of this year, it is ALL NEW from the frame up. All new Shocks, Brakes, Steering, Wiring Harness, the Motor is a 1641cc with a weber progressive 2 barrel, 12volt Alternator, electronic ignition. Swing axle rear end, link pin front end all gone thru. New tires and 16" American Racing Rims. Porsche Seats newly upholstery with the headrests cut off, new marine grade carpet, Porsche Gauges, new custom 10gallon fuel tank and all new fuel lines. All of the switches and wiring is marine grade. The body has been gone thru completly and has a custom trunk area with built in ice cooler and lockable top, great for the Honeys personal items. The buggy is at the final stage of getting the bugs worked out and will be ready for delivery on Monday the 11th of October. The buggy is registered in Florida with a clear VW title and has matching vin plate numbers. My buddy that we are building this for appears to be waffling on the "need for a cool toy" since he is going to be laid up over the winter here in Florida. So, I'm seeing if there is interest in buying this fresh, "NEW" build for way less than it cost to build. The fiberglass and paint work was well over $2200.00 plus all of the hours put in by me and my guys to re-build this classic. The pictures do not do it justice. You can call me with any questions at 904-737-9119, ask for Mark. I also have a Red Lithia Springs Custom Tube Chassis Buggy that is the next in line to be built unless someone wants it unfinished, let me know.

Just to be clear, this buggy has 17 miles on it as of right now. Those are the test miles that Frank and I have put on it and thats it, the motor will need to have several hundred miles put on it to be sure its good and broke in, I'll top of the brakes resivor tonight and make sure there is plenty of 90 weight in the transaxle, but everything else is ready to go.
