Ebay Description:

1975 Volkswagen/Dune buggy. Originally a 1975 Volkswagen Beetle. Converted into dune buggy October 2008. Beautiful canary yellow color. Converted from fuel injection to dual 40mm carbs. Runs fantastic and is a blast to drive. Over $13,000 invested not counting labor. Entire body was painted with Por-15 anti-rust compound. Floor pans replaced. This body is unique in that it did not require any modifications to the pan, has a backseat with seat belts, and has a lockable trunk for valuables. New parts include: wheels/tires(BF Goodrich), Empi super seats and adjustable tracks, seat belts, dual carbs, alternator and stand, race cooling fan, angled chrome fan shroud, high performance chrome coil, electronic distributor, finned chrome valve cover, oversize oil pan, heavy duty oil pump (30mm), remote oil cooler/filter with fan, rear/front bumpers, completely rewired, horn, steering wheel, brake lines, bleeder valves, master cylinder, ceramic exhaust system with headers, head lights and turn signals, steering shaft, plug and coil wires, shift linkage, throttle cable, fuel tank, electric fuel pump, pedal assembly, chrome breather, Diehard battery, drive shafts and CV joints, 7 inch headlights, old Ford taillights, front suspension bushings, fuel lines, remote battery cutoff with key, flip fuel cap, toggle switch controls, push rod tubes, rear view mirror, remote horn switch, etc. The gauges include speedometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel, and voltmeter. All gauges are VDO white face and back illuminated. The body includes side pods to give it a finished look. Wherever I drive this I get honks, waves, and questions. This is a beautiful car that runs fantastic. Check out the pictures, this is not some dune buggy that was thrown together with parts from a junk yard. All the parts listed above are new. I have driven this under 500 miles since I finished the work.
