Ebay Description:

OK, Bought this buggy about 1 year ago , with a frozen clutch from sitting, I installed a new kennedy 1700lbs. clutch. with all new disc and had the flywheel turned. I bought this on/off road buggy to use at my beach house and it is titled to me and have drove it around all summer. This car was built many years ago with the 2.8 ford v6 and it seems to have plenty of power. I drive this car very mello and dont really drive it off road ,except to do a little beach combing with the kids. The previous owner used it in the dunes every now and then and also in the dessert. The only reason i am selling it is that i realized that i only used it 3 weekends at the beach house and its not worth having insurance on it for only 3 weekends a year. So i am letting it go.

The motor runs good, clutch is great, steering is fine, trans works great the gear ratio is perfect. this thing will lug through town in third gear at 1000 rpms and never stall. I drive this car at low speeds.50 mph and below. it will go alot faster and i have had it at highway speeds but that is not what i bought it for. The aftermarket shifter is just ok,(if you have ever owned a vw you know what i saying). All lights and blinkers work at this time. Has horn on button on dash, speedo works, tach works, I believe the fuel tank is 8 gallons. (no gauge). the carb was also rebuilt before summer. (cold blooded,no choke). Exhaust is fairly quite at low speeds and roars under heavy accelaration. It has tuning brakes.(they work good). and bikini cover for roof (rolled up by windshield) Body and paint, body in fair to good condition, Paint is just Ok. (hell its red) rollcage is connected to cage around engine, has solid motor mounts and trans mounts.(that a good thing).Tires have maybe 300 miles on them.

The Bad List, Has cracked windshield(in the middle), Brakes need bleed but worked fine for me!( a little mushy). The floor pan has been plated with a solid piece of heavy sheetmetal.( has surface rust on it but solid) Cooling system works great at low speed.( air flow is fouled up at speeds over 45 mph and the air comes up from under car and off sets the fans so no air is flowing throw radiator. ) Only time this is a problem is on the highway. When i got car the radiator was mounted in the back where the rear seats are located but i moved it to install rear seats. The rear seats are out of the back of a subaru brat.

THIS CAR COMES WITH A OLD SCHOOL SAND RAIL TYPE TRAILER. PEOPLE USED TO CALL THEM TEE TRAILERS. THE TO REAR WHEELS SIT IN POCKETS AND THE FRONT BEEM SITS ON A RAIL . SORRY NO PICS OF TRAILER, IF BIDDER DOESNT WANT TRAILER THEN I CAN DISPOSE OF IT. IT HAS NO VALUE TO ME AND WOULD BE COSTLY TO SHIP. IT DOES WORK GREAT TO TRANSPORT THIS VEHICLE.
