One step away from being a project, at least he was corrected on the body style. But I think the high bid was more than fair for whats in the pictures.

Ebay Description:

1969 VW Manx kit car. This buggy runs very well and does not leak or use any oil. The engine was rebuilt around 1000 miles ago. The body does not have any damage, but could use a paint job. The interior is in good shape, the seats are not torn or damaged. I have a fiberglass top that can be put on if you wish. Currently non-op registered in California, buggy is street legal and runs good off road as well. I am not sure the CC on the engine, but it is a 40 h.p. VW air-cooled four cylinder. I have had the thing sitting in the garage for a few months and the brakes will have to be bled (all the fluid evaporated). Title is free and clear ready to sign over.

Buyer is responsible for shipping out of the local area. Pick up is available also. A $200 deposit is required 72 hours at the end of the auction for the winning bidder. This is to cover fees that I have to pay if it sells in the event I get a bogus bidder.

After emails and looking on the internet I am not sure if this is a Manx, I am not sure what it is. I did not know that so many models were made, if you know what model it actually is please tell me, because I wouldn't mind knowing. Sorry for any confusion or misleading that comes from this, and I will gladly accept any withdraws of bids.
