Ebay Description:

Authentic Manx Dune Buggy. Arizona Titled as 1984 but the body serial number is for 1969 production. Absolutely great example of an original Manx. Has body tag and original inspection stickers (see pictures) and the original gelcoat- it's never been repainted. Still shiny but the gel coat has faded in areas, especially on the hood. Body is solid with no cracks or collision damage. No rust solid floor pan with great interior. Seats are almost perfect with one small hole in driver's seat that has been repaired but is still visible. Runs and drives great! One of the best road buggies I have ever driven. Goes down the road straight and smooth at 50 mph all day comfortably. Was told by previous owner that the motor is a 1600 single port, but cannot verify. But it is very strong and pulls and excellerates great. Transmission, clutch and swing axle rear work perfectly. This buggy has no mechnical, electrical or drivability problems that I am aware of. All the lights and gauges work, no cracks in the glass and tires are almost new. Actual mileage on odometer in the vehicle is 351 miles, on the title it is listed as 46500 miles, so actual miles are unknown. Fully street legal: Headlights, high and low beam Running lights Turn signals Windshield wipers horn Front seat seat belts adjustable seats Side and rear view mirrors Chrome roll bar Factory hard top Chromed engine cage at rear (custom chromed- I don't think you can purchase these in chrome) All wheels have studs and lug nuts (not lug bolts like stock- these are stronger) Rear seat Corbeau bucket seats with seat belts Full chrome exhaust with spark arrestor- has quick change set up to switch to different exhaust tip/ muffler Pre wired for towing- has plug-in on front to connect with tow vehicle lights (see pictures for front connect- you can see the towlights above the tail lights in pictures- they are seperate) Hurst shifter Moon gas peddle Tires are matched set with low miles (see pictures) Speedometer Fuel gauge (works) Ammeter Oil pressure gauge The pictures show the buggy without the top and roll bar, with the rollbar, and with the top and roll bar, so the different configurations can been seen. The hardtop is designed for this vehicle and currently costs around $500 for a reproduction. It is in excellent shape and has grab handles on each side for handling when off the vehicle which can be used as an assist to get in and out of the buggy when the top is mounted. This is a great buggy - Manx or not. But it is a Manx and it is the first series, not a Manx II. The serial number- M3330K907E, makes it a November of 1969 production in Golden Orange (07E). It is really nice to have the original inspection stickers that are fading, but you can still see the serial number and date on them. The battery and spare tire sumps under the rear seat can be seen in the pictures. Also available to winning bidder is a "Blue Ox" 10,000 lb heavy duty tow bar and custom tow bar adapter for an additional amount of $300. These tow bars are almost $700 new - and this one is indeed overkill for the buggy- but very nice. If curious, you can google "Blue Ox" towbar- look for the 10,000 lb rating.
