Funnybug sez:
I'm not sure what the significance of the dirty / clean pics is... Maybe to show how lasting gelcoat really is??.

Ebay Description:

This is a very sharp buggy; bought at an estate auction 7/11/09, was last registered 1989; vehicle was in a shed almost hidden by stacks of lumber and other junk. As you can see by the pictures, a little soap and water does wonders. The body is absolutely mint, with no cracks, scratches or anything, metaflake finish is great. The tires look new and the wheels are in great shape, although it is apparent they have been on the vehicle 20+ years. The engine is a 1600 with 2bbl carb, Hurst shifter, and transmission shifts through all gears as it should and reverse lock-out works. Bucket seats are in good shape, rear seat bottom is disintegrated. Some rust in floor pan. Have not attempted to start, as it is obvious ther is rust in the fuel tank, and it will have to be removed and cleaned. I put the transmission in 4th gear and the engine turns over, and by selecting 3rd gear it is almost impossible to move it, so I would assume the engine has good compression. The windshield is marked made in West Germany.
