Funnybug sez:
nothing wrong here. just a good looking buggy.

Ebay Description:

Titled as a 1988 Dune Buggy (not a 1980 as listed in the description) this is one great looking road and dune ready buggy. Built on a rust free Arizona pan, the motor runs great and is supposed to be a 1641cc dual port ( I did not build it so I don't want to make claims on engine size I'm not sure of! ) Mileage shows 5745 but true mileage is unknown. Has IRS rear axles with a click shifter. Four speed transmission and clutch work fine. Drum brakes all around.

Here are some of the features:

Full set of chrome wheels in excellent condition
Fresh tires with under 1000 miles
Full roll cage (pictures show with and without the roll cage)
4 sets of 4 point seat belts (not installed) see pics
Fire extinguisher (not installed) see pics
Billet aluminum dune flag mount and flag
2 rear seat set ups: regular upholsted seat and back, and 2 modified Yamaha Rhino seats ( not mounted). They have been modified to fit around roll bar (relief cuts).
Soft top- one snap is missing from wind shield attach- does not affect the use of top. Has zippers on sides that were used for side curtains- do not have the side curtains.
Quick detach steering wheel- steering wheel can be removed to make it easy to get in and out.
Chrome engine package, with chrome fan housing, chrome coil cover, chrome valve covers and chrome exhaust system.
Full instruments, including:
speedometer
tachometer
oil pressure
oil temp
ammeter
fuel gauge
Street ready, with:
Head lights
tail lights
turn signals
brakes lights
windshield wipers
horn
Extra set of sand tires on Chrome rims- used once according to the previous owner- I've never had them on the vehicle, but they look great! (see picture)
Easy to use tow bar.
The paint looks great but is not perfect.. There is an area worn away by the hood scoop (from dune flag in down position during transport) and one crack in the driver's side fender (see pics). The front seats are comfy, but the driver's side seat has some tearing. They have covers that can be replaced, but are servicable the way they are. The rear bench seat is in good condition with no tears. The second set of Rhino seats have been cut to fit around the roll bar. They come with the buggy but are not installed. The wind shield has one small chip.

Overall it's a way above average buggy. A lot of time and effort were spent to make this a good looking, fun and safe driving dune/ street vehicle.
